Questions

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every Mac starts with a 7-day trial of the whole app. There is no sign-up and no card to enter.

Which plan do I need?

Personal if you pay for the licence yourself. Business if a company or another organisation pays for it.

How does renewal work?

Licences renew each year or each month, as you chose at checkout. You can cancel the renewal at any time; the licence then keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. Yearly billing costs less: $79 instead of $108 for Personal, and $129 instead of $168 per user for Business.

What happens when a licence ends?

Sessions that are already open keep running and browsing still works. Only new connections, tunnels and forwards wait for a key.

Can I move a licence to another Mac?

Yes. Deactivate This Mac… in Settings › License frees the key for another Mac.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, in full within 30 days of your first purchase or of a yearly renewal. See the refund policy.

Who sells Ostgate?

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
